Scary Forest walk cycle animation

Character animation of a scared man walking through a scary forest. Done as a practice exercise in Adobe After Effects. Character rigged with DUIK Bassel plugin. All graphics were designed by me.

The character was designed and drawn in a sketchbook and later recreated in Adobe Illustrator. After importing it to Adobe After Effects I used DUIK Bassel to rig the character and create walk cycle.
Trees in the background were created in Adobe Illustrator and later composited in Adobe After Effects. One of the trees was designed to resemble a human face. The mist and the lightning strikes were also added in After Effects.
