Presentation of a Futuristic User Interface for a made-up fishing game. The final assignment for School of Motion Expression Session.
All animations of FUI elements were made with AE expressions.
The main part (the map) shows an animated boat. The movement of the sea floor depends on the boat's random movement (direction and speed). In the right corner, there is a switch that enables you to toggle between metric and imperial measurement systems. On the bottom there is a fish counter that counts the amount of fish in the largest rod cast range.
The rod selector shows the rod suggestion that is the best to catch targeted fish. The suggestion is based on the distance of the targeted fish from the boat. Different rods have a different amount of bend. The bar on the left shows the fish distances.
The fish finder section shows the fish school in which one fish is the leader and the rest follow it.
The bottom lines imitate the water current. The top line is the sea surface. Line movement is random.
The cross-section is showing the sea bottom surface that is generated and painted randomly by wiggle expressions and echo effect.
The gauges is showing different boat parameters. The rounded bars animation in center gauges are related to the amount of speed and RPM.
